Nick Coyle

Vice President & Managing Director - Japan / S. E. Asia

Nick leads the team of automotive consulting specialists and researcher in the Tokyo office and is also responsible for management and operations in South East Asia including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and South Korea. Nick joined R. L. Polk Japan in July 2004 after 8 years with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, where he led and managed international support projects to many of Mitsubishi’s global markets.

Another of Nick’s expertise’s lies in the development, implementation and measurement of dealer standards and improvement solutions for automotive manufacturers, which are aimed at driving a better performance level at the retail level. He continues to work closely with many automotive manufacturers who need to adapt global standards to be more applicable to the nuances of the complex Japanese market.

Nick has been in Japan for over 15 years and is a fluent Japanese speaker. Nick holds a Bachelor’s degree from Victoria University of Wellington and an MBA from Temple University of Pennsylvania.
